Salmon Welcomes New Youth Work Apprentices

27/02/2018

Apprentices are a key part of the staff team at Salmon, which is why we're pleased to welcome four new apprentices this month to join our growing team!

Jade Allison (18) and Alex Slatton (17) have been coming to Salmon as members since 6-9s club! Both have journeyed from being members to Young Leaders and now Youth Work Apprentices.

Toshawn Morgan (19) also has history with Salmon, having supported our technical and adventure team for over seven years. He now joins us as a Business Apprentice to further develop the knowledge and skills to grow his lighting and sound business.

Sy Mahmoud (22) is new to the Salmon family but is incredibly passionate about youth work and plans to take the skills and experiences he gains here into other youth work settings around the world.

These four new apprentices join the five youth work apprentices we already have on board from September 2017. All apprentices complete a one-year paid placement at Salmon, whilst working on their NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Youth Work.
