Every donation counts
The Salmon Youth Centre needs £850,000 each year to continue its extensive work with young people.
Your donation will have a huge impact, not just monetarily, but in transforming the lives of many young people, including those who have been in prison, and those facing difficulties in their homes (please read more about our work for more details of who we work with).
In addition, your donation will enable us to try new ways of working and to fill gaps in services to meet the needs of young people.
Your support helps strengthen the sustainability of our work, enabling us to secure further funding from government and other sources.
How it works
You can set up a one-off or monthly donation directly through our website using the ‘Make a Donation’ box above.
It is also possible to buy a virtual gift through our gift shop to make a specific contribution to an area of our work that most appeals to you. Payment for both of these aspects are processed through PayPal.
Apart from a small donation fee*, all donations made go directly to the Salmon Youth Centre and help us to inspire more young people to realise their potential.
*Paypal charges 1.4% + 20p transaction rate.
Gift Aid
If you decide to donate online, please Gift Aid your donation to enable us to claim an extra 25p for every £1.00 you donate.
Regular giving
If you can, please commit to regular giving as this enables us to plan and make the best use of your donation.
If you prefer to set up your own direct debit or standing order rather than using the website, please download the form below.

Payroll Giving is a simple, efficient and flexible scheme, which allows you to donate to any UK registered charity of your choice by a direct deduction from your wage.
All donations given in this way are tax effective, so that the Salmon Youth Centre receives your donation and the tax you would have paid on this amount.
Payroll Giving is a valuable, long-term source of revenue for the Salmon Youth Centre, providing regular income which helps us to budget and plan ahead more effectively. It is simple to operate and it can help you to build good relations with your employees through showing support for a charity they believe in and care about.
If you would like to know more about Payroll Giving, please get in touch and we will send you an information pack and call you to discuss how to present Payroll Giving to your employer/employees.

For over 110 years the Salmon Youth Centre in Bermondsey has been working with young people, helping them to realise their potential and contribute positively to their communities.
The Salmon Youth Centre is the largest and most innovative Christian youth centre in Britain – we have over thirty activities for the 400-500 young people who attend our centre each week as well as a world class building to cater for all their needs.
