Isabelle first started volunteering at Salmon Youth Centre when she was 14 as part of her Duke of Edinburgh Award. What began as volunteering soon became a much bigger part of her life, and she went on to become a Young Leader at the Youth Centre.

Through her time at Salmon, Isabelle developed a strong sense of responsibility, pride and ownership. She has seen first-hand the positive impact youth work can have on young people, both within her local community and on her own personal development.

Isabelle is passionate, ambitious and friendly, with a strong enthusiasm for learning, trying new things and meeting new people. She enjoys getting involved, taking on new challenges and using her experiences to make a positive difference.

Her passion for youth development has also led her to take on leadership opportunities beyond Salmon, including her school’s Student Council and Southwark Youth Parliament.

Having grown in confidence and experience through her involvement at Salmon, Isabelle is now continuing her journey as a Salmon Youth Ambassador, where she hopes to use her voice, experience and leadership skills to encourage and inspire other young people.
