Youth Work Volunteer
We are currently looking for adult volunteers (aged 20+) to help out in the sessions listed below.
If you are looking for a chance to develop skills, give back and be a part of the local community, please get in contact with the relevant worker for that club.
6-9s Cooking and Crafts Club: Every Tuesday, 4pm – 5.30pm Each week, our members are able to get involved in either developing their cooking skills and knowledge, or get creative in arts and crafts. Everything their imaginative minds come up with, they are able to take home and to their collection. If you’re also a creative bean and have some ideas, or are interested in getting involved with this age group, please contact Jamie.
19-25s Mixters Club: Every Friday, 5.30pm – 6.45pm
This is a specialised club for young people with disabilities. These young people come to socialise with their peers and to develop their independence. They’re a lively bunch with great characters, and each session we aim to get them involved in sports, arts and helping out in club e.g. scanning young people in, collecting money and leading activities. If you’re interested in working with the Mixters group, please contact Eugene.
6-11s Indoor Tennis: Every Tuesday, 5.15pm – 6.30pm
Tennis is open to all levels, whether they want to become a tennis pro, or just play for fun. Young people are able to get involved with games, and at the same time develop their skills such as hand-eye coordination, balance, and general athletic ability. If you have some experience in tennis, or you’re even a fan of the sport and want to get involved, please contact Jamie.
